Transparency about data, safety, and the limits of our responsibility. This page is maintained by Quest for Cupid.
We collect only what is necessary to run matchmaking, quests, and safety features: your email, profile information (display name, bio, birthdate, city, country, photos), personality-quiz responses, quest progress, feedback you submit, and — only if you accept analytics cookies — anonymised usage events and device information for fraud prevention. We do not sell your data. We do not use it for advertising outside the app.
Data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest. Access is restricted to essential operations and gated by row-level security. We use industry-standard practices but no online service is completely immune to intrusion; report suspected incidents to hello@questforcupid.com.
You are solely responsible for what you share, write, or upload. Quest for Cupid provides tools — including blurred-image warnings and report buttons — to help keep the community safe, but we cannot guarantee that every interaction will be appropriate. We are not liable for the actions of other users.
Quest for Cupid is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the app, including but not limited to emotional distress, reputational harm, or data loss.
You agree to use the app lawfully and respectfully. You will not share illegal, hateful, or sexually explicit content. You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Quest for Cupid and its operators from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your conduct or content while using the service.
We may use third-party providers for hosting, analytics, and image processing. Those providers have their own privacy policies. We do not control them and are not responsible for their practices.
You must be 18 years of age or older to use Quest for Cupid. We do not knowingly collect data from minors. If we learn that a minor has accessed the service, we will terminate the account and purge associated data.
This disclosure may be updated at any time. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. For questions, GDPR/CCPA data-subject requests, or legal inquiries, contact hello@questforcupid.com.
You can delete your account at any time from Settings. When you do, your profile, photos, messages, feedback, and analytics events are removed within 30 days. Anonymised safety and abuse-prevention logs may be retained for up to 12 months to satisfy legal obligations. To request a copy or accelerated erasure email hello@questforcupid.com.
By using Quest for Cupid, you acknowledge and agree that the service is an entertainment and social-discovery platform, not a guarantee of any relationship outcome. We make no representations about compatibility, safety of offline meetings, or the accuracy of user-generated content. You meet, message, and interact with others at your own risk. We strongly encourage safe, public-first meetings and independent judgment. Quest for Cupid, its creators, affiliates, and service providers shall not be held liable for any dispute, loss, injury, or harm resulting from user interactions, both online and offline. This limitation applies regardless of the legal theory asserted. If any portion of this disclaimer is held unenforceable, the remainder shall continue in full effect.
